The A5814A-003 (the 003 indicates the option #) scsi-fc router requires firmware version 8.01.0C to fix a hang of the router caused by the presence of an HP-UX or MPE/iX native FC HBA on the same SAN as the fabric router.

 

If your SAN does not have a native FC HP-UX or native FC MPE/iX release 7.5, no update is necessary.

Proceed only if router label indicates it is a fabric router.

Do not attempt to update the older (bridge) router to a fabric router.
Permanent damage can result.
