• download from http://jazz.external.hp.com/src/hp_freeware/perl/

• edit and run the INSTALL script

• creates a PERL account

• does not use Priv-Mode capability

• /PERL/PUB/perl is the interpreter

  • start scripts with #!/PERL/PUB/perl
  • don't start scripts with #!/PERL/PUB/PERL
