ODBCLink/SE is officially distributed and supported ONLY as a component of the IMAGE/SQL and ALLBASE/SQL products. To obtain and use this component, customers need to have installed the following database product versions:
    TurboIMAGE/XL C.07.04 or later
    IMAGE/SQL B.G2.03 or later
    ALLBASE/SQL A.G2.00 or later
(IMAGE users need all three products listed. Only the ALLBASE portion is required by ALLBASE users.)

The ODBCLink/SE Reference Manual, which contains important information concerning installation and use, is also available for downloading from this page. The manual is approximately 90 pages long, and is available both as a PCL-encoded document and a Postscript-encoded document. Once downloaded, printing either of these files REQUIRES a printer with the correct capabilities. (We have successfully printed both of them to an HP LaserJet 4Si printer.)

Alternatively, software that allows viewing and/or conversion of PCL-encoded files and/or Postscript-encoded files is thought to be available, but has not been tried by HP.

To download the 3.7MB PCL-encoded document file, click ODBC-pcl

To download the 11.9MB Postscript-encoded document file, click ODCB-postscript

You should print the file you have downloaded to obtain the ODBCLink/SE Reference Manual.

This can be done from a PC as:

     COPY filename LPT1:
assuming that LPT1: is a PCL- or Postscript-capable printer.

This can be done on HP-UX as:

     lp -dprinter -oraw filename
assuming that printer is a PCL- or Postscript-capable printer.
